LUCY EDMONDS
Classical Piano Teacher
TEACHING METHOD
With a strong emphasis on technique and musical aesthetics, I will improve and develop your playing through suitable pieces of choice, naturally working in technical exercises, scales, theory, sight-reading and aural.
These exercises should be practiced on a daily basis to ensure effective development. If the pupil wishes to take grades, I will enter them through ABRSM. Alternatively, using a more relaxed approach, pupils learn through a range of suitable pieces of their choice.
Lessons adapted to individual requirements, through private 1-1 tuition. All ages welcome.
I teach from my home studio in London online or in person. I can also travel to you to teach, subject to an additional charge to cover the travel time.
FEES
£35 for the hour, £20 for half the hour
COVID-19 UPDATE
I am now teaching exclusively from home, via the internet. I generally use Zoom software and have a set up with good cameras at the piano, so I am able to easily demonstrate things musically. I then email you after the lesson with a summary of the lesson and audio/video examples and scans of sheets, as necessary. This could be a fantastic opportunity to really develop your musical skills, as we are all stuck at home for the coming months.
